Responsibilities:

  • Verification, preparation and recording of transactions into system on timely basis to ensure all these records are up-to-date and accurate (include verification and posting of purchase and expense invoices, staff claims, monthly recurring journals, monthly depreciation journals, monthly salary journals and monthly unrealized Forex gain/loss journal).
  • Issue of Debit Notes to related companies and posting necessary journals for inter-company payments on behalf.
  • Analyse and calculate accruals required for sales & sales related expense and prepare and post necessary journals to ensure correct matching of the sales and its related cost in the monthly profit & loss Account.
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports including sales reports, FA & LA schedules, profit and loss account, balance sheet, analysis of balance sheet items, HR cost allocation report, expense analysis report, and monthly tax estimation to ensure accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, validity of information, reflecting appropriately the state of business of the entities concerned.
  • Monthly reconciliation of inter-co balance to ensure all the transactions between related companies are complete and updated to facilitate proper consolidation of Group accounts.
  • Fill in consolidation template after closing each month for consolidation of Group Accounts.
  • Check and verify monthly tax obligation reports to ensure and optimized tax payments and compliance to statutory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least an Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Finance/Accountancy, or Degree in Accounting/Finance or Professional Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Handle full set of Accounts.
  • Required skill(s): Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
  • Preferably with some previous experience with Navision, or similar with ERP system.
  • Meticulous and possess good accounting knowledge.
